 No experience is needed. Many students come to their first class feeling unsure, and that’s completely normal. Our teachers offer supportive options in every class so you can move at your own pace.


Not at all. Yoga helps build flexibility over time. You can begin exactly where you are.


Absolutely. Many students come on their own. The Om Center is a welcoming, supportive community, and our goal is simply to help you feel comfortable from the moment you walk in.


That’s completely okay. You are always encouraged to rest, modify, or skip poses as needed. Yoga here is about listening to your body, not keeping up with anyone else.


 Gentle Yoga, Chair Yoga, or any All Levels class are great places to begin. If you’re unsure, feel free to reach out and we’ll happily help you choose the best option.


We recommend registering online in advance to reserve your spot and make check-in easier when you arrive.


Bring a yoga mat, water, and comfortable clothing. If you forget something, we have extras available at the studio.


Plan to arrive about 10 minutes early for your first visit so you can check in, meet your teacher, and settle into the space.


 Yes. In addition to our weekly classes, The Om Center also offers massage therapy and Reiki sessions, along with workshops, seasonal programs, sound healing events, mindfulness offerings, and community gatherings throughout the year.


 Yes. We regularly offer yoga and mindfulness programs for children and teens designed to help build confidence, emotional awareness, and healthy coping skills in a supportive environment.


 Yes. Private sessions are available for students who would like one-on-one support. These can be helpful for beginners, those working with injuries or specific goals, or anyone who prefers a more personalized experience.


 The Om Center is located in Watertown, CT, and parking is available for students. Full directions can be found on our Contact page.
